Based in the Hanshin Port area (Kobe and Amagasaki), we provide comprehensive shipping agency and husbandry services, including handling basic inward and outward formalities, managing permit applications and official notifications to relevant authorities, and delivering full husbandry support to ensure timely assistance to vessels. We execute every procedure with precision and respond swiftly and effectively to any urgent or unexpected matters that may arise while vessels are in port. We are a member of the Japan Association of Foreign-Trade Ship Agencies (JAFSA) and have obtained the FONASBA Quality Standard. We also belong to the Hyogo Shipping Agencies Association and the Japan Offshore Cargo Handling Safety Association, which gives us a broad base of expertise and connections.

Our flexible response capabilities have been highly evaluated, and we were honored to receive the Sapphire Award from Ocean Network Express in 2018.

Our Services

Inward and outward clearance

We handle all procedures with inward and outward clearance on behalf of vessels, ensuring smooth coordination with relevant authorities. In addition, we work closely with stevedores and other port service providers to deliver meticulous support, ensuring the safe entry and departure of vessels.

Berth Term Arrangement

We can coordinate with the stevedoring company to arrange Berth Term.

Shipowner Support Services (Husbandry Services)

Handling a wide range of husbandry services (i.e., shipowner's matters), including the procurement of navigation equipments, medical assistance for crew members, delivery of provisions and stores, as well as fresh water supply arrangements. Nordic Agencies ensures a detailed and frexible response to every need.

Crew Medical Escort Service

After the vessel's arrival, we arrange transportation and provide escort support for the needs of crew medical.

Medevac (Medical evacuation)

In case of a medical emergency at sea, we firstly determine the patient condition, seek guidance from radio medical consultation, and arrange for helicopters, ambulance and maritime transfers when needed.

Ship Sanitation Inspection Procedures

Quarantine officers board the vessel to inspect for vectors such as rodents and mosquitoes, examine food handling and storage practices and overall hygiene management, and verify compliance through relevant document checks and crew interviews.

Ship Water Quality Inspection Procedures

We deliver drinking water samples to an authorized inspection laboratory for quality testing, helping to ensure the supply of safe and potable drinking water for the vessel.

CTM Arrangements and Delivery

We deliver CTM (Cash to Master), necessary for crew salaries and procurement of supplies, directly to the ship's master

Applying for Coastal Riding Permission

We act on behalf of foreign-flagged vessels to handle the necessary permits from port-to-port, helping to ensure seamless and efficient operations.

Applying for Sea Protest

Upon receipt of a power of attorney, we prepare and submit all necessary documents on behalf of Master for a Sea Protest arising from severe weather or accidents.

Ships Sales & Purchase Operations

We handle all arrangements related to the sales and purchase of vessels (including changes of ownership), providing comprehensive services for the handover under the instructions of both seller and buyer. Our system allows us to respond promptly to various requests, including full crew change. Furthermore, for the sale of domestic-flagged vessels to overseas buyers, we collaborate closely with international shipping brokers to facilitate seamless transactions.

Our services cover a diverse range of vessels including container ships, car carriers, bulk carriers, LPG/LNG carriers, chemical tankers, and passenger ships. With extensive expertise in cargo operations and related procedures required for each vessel type, we ensure swift and efficient services to every request.
